hang in there, those that have not yet even gotten their GEds must get approved before you do. that's what i learned.

hey, if they're giving out refunds, tell them to cut me a check for close to $2000 and that doesnt include legal fees. hahahahahaha. trying to get a refund from them is like Tiger Woods trying to stay faithful!!! AINT GONNA HAPPEN SON!!!!

but for reals, you're not the only one waiting. just think about the people who are in line waiting for a visa to actually have legal status. i've been waiting since 2001 for a family visa so this time i've been waiting (since sept) is nothing. i'll do my time happily because i know once i get DACA approved and CIR passes, i'll get not only my GC but Citizenship too.

Yeah I'm aware of the approvals.
Hopefully mine comes soon as I have a great job/internship opportunity coming up soon.

Yes it does suck. & since I'm now aware that there's no refunds, all I can do is wait lol.

I'm sure I'll have a more cheerful attitude overall once I do get approved. I feel like I'm grumpy 24/7 because I haven't been approved lol.

& I'm not exactly in the same boat.. but trust me, DACA isn't the first time I've attempted to obtain some kind of relief. I had a case that was in "pending" for 6 years previously. Went to court 3 times a year throughout the case, physically checked into DHS every month, spent around $10,000 in App+Lawyer fees, & I went through all of it just to get DENIED(1 year before DACA)





Applying/scheduling/being interviewed for many internship/occupational/scholastic opportunities in hopeful foresight of getting approved.. only to later still not be approved, but still have everything go perfect at every single interview....up until you come across the words "E-Verify" or "Social Security Number"

yea dont worry man.. my application actually DID get lost once it arrived in Vermont back in November. i had to send another one in february.. point is, YOU WILL GET APPROVED.
the only thing YOU need to do is email them, call them, go to the place where you did your fingerprints. my RFE was lost and i had to really bug them for them to send me another one.
i was just approved today and im an august applicant as well.
keep your head up and FIGHT FOR IT.

I'm happy for you man! It amazes me that even though we've all gone through the process; we still have to follow up on things our service centers are supposed to be on top of. I've already tried everything you mentioned (with the exception of going back to the biometrics location) to no avail. I'm kinda at the "whatever anymore" point lol. It worked out for you though & I'm sincerely happy for you as I've read your story in your other thread. You filed at almost the same time I did so I know how long your wait felt. Must be awesome haha, congrats
