new to the forum, might be a retordical question but always good to make sure none the less. can we do anything with DACA? apply for student permit or better said request a Form I-20 to obtain F-1 Student Status...??

on another note: if the dream act goes through will the process of applying be easier for those who are DACA approved?

No, DACA in no ways is a way of improving your current state (unless you get can AP and travel out and in safe into the country which if you have EWI would remove it)

What you need to understand is that DACA only means ICE wont deport you for 2 years. That is it. You are still illegal but you are being allowed to NOT be deported for 2 years. Or deferred. However, in those 2 years, if you qualify you can get a SSN and maybe get a license depending which state you live in.

Why are you trying to do that..... Wait for cir you could be a damn citizen in 5 years..... If you have a valid visa I don't think you'd qualify for cir.. So just wait..
