UPDATE! I mailed in my I-485, I-130, I-765. On may 14,2013 and I just got my fits notice of action today!!!

If you're talking about the I-601 waiver you can file it without the need to leave US, however once approved you still need to leave to undergo consular processing abroad. So you go on a 2 week vacation, pick up your immigrant visa, and go back home. |

im asking because i too want to get married with my girlfriend but we are young and i dont think it will be possible, unless with a sponsor.

Very interested in this thread too. I've always heard different things about adjusting status through marriage with a USC, even when the person entered with inspection. Some have been positive, but a few lawyers have told me it's an unlikely / difficult process..
Same here!! Well except i don't have a partner 
but if i did, DOMA still stands in the way if I ever wanted to go this route.. Hopefully it will be knocked down by SCOTUS, or in immigration reform.. Hope you guys are able to adjust eventually
