It depends on what type of graduation. Does a two-year degree count? If yes, then it's fine. There are many here who cannot afford a 4-year degree, but now that we have a work permit, they should be able to afford community college and at least obtain a two-year degree.

Personally, I am a senior so I will graduate next year, so it sounds good to me. Also, I got an internship with excellent pay this summer, so I couldn't be happier at this time. No more whining, DACA is a huge help, but we need to keep moving forward.

By 2 year do they mean Associate Degree?

I'm all for it. If it means getting the bill passed, I say anything up to a bachelor's degree is reasonable.

My only concern with this is if it would be a bachelor's degree, I know this point has been reiterated countless times, but not everyone needs, nor can we afford, for everyone to have a bachelor's.

These days getting a bachelor's degree is like having a HS degree. It ain't that tough to do it in 5 years if it means getting on the fast track for a green card. Where there is a will there is a way. CIR can cover the people who don't want to be part of the dream act.

Some people on here are all for requirements that benefits them and the moment it's not in their interest they are against it. I'm all for requirements that's fair, balance and the vast majority of dreamers can benefit for it. Keep in mind that not all states offer instate tuition, so it wouldn't be affordable for some as it would for others. But what do I know, "where there is a will there is a way" I guess...

if the dream act gives in state tuition then it's fair, if it doesn't then it would be next to impossible to get a bachelors degree.

I completely agree,a good example was the age restriction concerning Dreamers over a certain age.I think it is time we stop compromising the Dream of other Dreamer for the sake of our own.

also lets say dream act passes with graduation requirement and in 2 years daca isn't renewed that would mean that kids who are 16 atm when they turn 18 they won't be able to get jobs because their work permit will be expired so they can't pay for college? maybe i'm wrong idk
