can i buy a new car with daca?

the ssn says for work only...and the dealership required social security number for financing and they said they need to see my ssn card..... HELP ANYONE?

Yes with cash. You will need a co signer without.

The 'work only' means doesn't mean you can't use it for non-work purposes. It means you can only used it for work purposes when you have DHS authorization (valid work permit). I bought a car two months ago with financing - 2010 Honda Civic, but I did need a cosigner - mostly so I could get lower APR. Also I was never asked for my ss card; I just had to write down my ssn on the form.
