No I just think that USCIS has learned their lesson, instead of 1 generic response they have decided to type up like 5 different generic responces.

Is this the message you received?

Recently you or your representative contacted USCIS concerning your I-821D to notify us that you believe your case is outside of our normal processing time. Below is a summary of what we found and how the issue has been or may be resolved.

We have placed your case on a processing hold because the required security checks remain pending. Until we receive the results of these security checks, we cannot move forward on your case. We require the results of security checks before we make a decision on any pending case.

We cannot predict when we will receive the results of these security checks. Please be assured that we will make every effort to make a decision in your case as soon as the security checks are complete.

We hope this information is helpful to you

I think USCIS doesn't even know what its doing anymore. They tell everyone to wait and since we can't do anything about it. We have to sit and wait. It will be 9 months tomorrow for me. This is really stupid. No one should have to wait this long or even longer. Instead of making us all wait this long they should take some more time on other people's applications instead of screwing a few people over. I'm angry and just want to be able to work. I don't want to work out in the hot sun anymore. I'm so tired of this piss of crap job that doesn't even pay my bills...

I'm sorry guys I wasn't trying to get y'all upset. At the same time I just think they're just feeding us bs with all those dates and estimated processing times. Now that I think about it when I called back in April they told me that they were working on cases from October 16... Pretty weird that they always say that they are working in cases that are right on the estimated processing time. I'm starting to think that all they do is say well we are in June now subtract 6 months and it's December let's just tell this people that we are working on cases from December. I wish they were more clear about the way they handle these applications

Ohh no, it's not your fault at all. We are just angry that it seems like applicants from Aug-Nov have been forgotten about. I do agree with you though, I think USCIS just tell us random processing dates. I gave up trying to get an answer from them.
