I will move to Australia if I see no Dream Act in 5 years. I love the U.S. more than anything, but if congress doesn't want to accept me as a resident/citizen, Australia will with a bachelor's degree in business administration.

OK, i just approved for Advance Parole to travel to give three research presentations (currently a postdoc) and learn a chemistry method at a university in mexico.

However, i was illegally (im 29 years old now) prior to DACA. Does anybody know anybody that has made it back?

There was a member here on the forum that went to Mexico with Advance Parole to visit an ailing relative. I can't remember if she said ailing relative or to the relatives funeral. :/

Anyways the thread I'm talking about is this one: http://dreamact.info/forum/showthrea...dvanced+parole

Yes do that and also I forgot to add if you have not spoken with a lawyer you totally should before going.

I forgot to add that the member I was speaking of was able to return but we believe the reason that happened was because she's married to a USC and has a USC child...so yea. Good luck though dr!

Hola Dr. Gutierrez!

Pudo usted viajar fuera del pais con Advance Parole?

Yo estoy en una situation similar y me interesa mucho saber que paso con su caso.

Gracias,

Luis Perez

I thought Advance Parole was always granted for a short period of time, I saw someone that has applied, approved, used and returned on it, and she stated she applied in April, and she only had until the end of May to actually use it and then it expired. They would not grant someone to go study abroad, I highly doubt that. Advance paroles are meant for short trips, you can't be out of the country for long
