Dream graduation 2013

Hey guys,

i am taking the plunge this year and will be attending the dream graduation rally in washington,dc this year. I read so much online about all these dreamers coming out and not being afraid to stand up and say "i am undocumented." i think these are the most coureagous and brave people of all. I myself have never had the courage too, yet but i realized that if we want change, we cant sit back and expect other people to do the work necessary. I am so excited and scared at the same time. I have never done anything like this but what the heck!!!! I have nothing to lose and everything to gain!!!!!! Anyone else going or has been to this before??

I have never done it, I've always been too afraid. I admire all the people who do have the courage to stand up.

I've never gone before but I'm considering it this year! Except I don't really know anyone else that is going, & I wouldn't want to go alone..

I don't know anyone either but oh well lol

Never been but would love to.. just don't have any proper transportation.

Btw I see you had your biometrics in Charlotte? How was it? I'm due to go on June 27th and just wanted to see what your experience was.

Are you in NC? Bios really aren't nothing. I was scared but you walk in them, show them your card, and wait for your number to be called. Then you walk to the computers and someone takes your prints and picture. Easy. But if you really are interested in Dream Graduation, the NC dream team is taking a bus to DC. Anyone who wants to go is in invited. I'll send you the link!!!

I went to the Dream Graduation in San Francisco last year

How was it???

It was fun, I wasn't out about my status at that time, and it was cool to see so many dreamers. I was nervous at first before going there, but when I got there, a lot of allies and supporters were there so I wasn't nervous anymore.
