I talked to my lawyer yesterday and when she showed me my packet, I noticed that the evidence were mostly photo copies she had made. I told her that maybe we should send the original and she told me that it was better to send photocopies in case of an interview...And I didn't know what she was talking about, but I guess those interviews do exist...

I think the interview is to ask you personal information that you provided...

I have a friend that also got an interview because She had submitted false visa documents to the DMV in California, she some how produced a fake visa that she got from a family member in mexico and got a temporary driver license a few years ago, when she went to her interview immigration wanted to know how, and from who she got the visa!!!

Unless you know that you some how defrauded the system by doing something you weren't suppose to, there's no need for a lawyer. There's a reason why you got the interview though. It shouldn't matter where you're from either, Lake Forrest here. If you know for a fact that you're a straight arrow, why should you fear anything ?

Good luck.

hey everyone, I have been busy working and wasn't able to answer questions
so I had my interview today
I just wanted to give an update for those that may have any questions regarding a request for interview taken from my experience
so I had my interview at santa ana at 12:45pm
I barely made it on time since I had to walk two blocks since I did not wanted to get caught driving
first there is no cellphones allowed whatsoever not even if its turned off so I had to drop it off the coffee shop across da street for free
once I got there I was immediately greeted by two field officers who where waiting for me for the interview
I didn't wait, just went in and was tooked to a room where the interview was going to take place
before anything they ask you to raise your hand and swear under oath
then one officer looks at your case and begins to review every question on the apps from start to finish
while the other officer just watches your every response and gestures and asks other questions
I was asked about my residence from the last five years
i took every paper i had sent before but they didn't bother to even look at it not once
i did take the originals, they asked for my high school diploma and passport, pretty much it
i was asked if i ever used a faked social but i just said no, pretty sure someone has, i did for 5 months but did not wrote it on my application, better not to

it was a little intimidating but as long as there is nothing wrong there is nothing to fear
I self applied with no RFE or lawyer to review my packet
I had only one evidence paper for 2007 and one for 2008 and two affidavits to cover for the last five years
i did had suffice evidence for the rest of the three years

the interview lasted about 20 mints and was told it was random and was not given a reason why it took so long and will get a response within 2 weeks

i was not nervous at all, i told them that even if I had to wait additional time, I was just grateful to have the opportunity to even apply

just be confident and be prepare to answer any question without any hesitation

either way I was approved today around 4pm for both vial email

8 months from up to request of interview and 9 months total

the main field officer I got was david ...looked serious and straight to the point

Could this be some kind of 'test' in case CIR passes? I mean, just wondering. Maybe if CIR passes this type of interviews will be the ones assigned for DACA recipients.

So you basically lied under oath about the SSN.. You're lucky they didn't find out and deport your ass.
