my receipt letter said that i had to wait 4 weeks til the card arrived because they had to check my info to see if it's authentic. my sister got her papers before me and she got her card a week after applying. also, if im not mistaken, her receipt letter didn't say they would have to check her info and that her card would arrive within 2 weeks.

what determines this difference?

hey i got a question about ssn . i wentto apply for one today and they didnt put my middle name the lady said it wasnt showing on dhs records but.on my passport and birth certificate it shows it and on my ead card it says j. but on the back on the bottom its spelled out completely . will i have problens
