Deaf Dreamer!

Hi everybody!

As the title may give it away, I am a deaf illegal alien. I've moved to the United States of America when I was just 2. I lived in California where I've met a lot of deaf people in the same position as I do (and as you all as well). I am 20 and am attending an university in northern arizona where they just passed laws infringing on rights for illegal aliens, including forcing college freshmans to provide proof of documentation and paying tuition for international students. I do live in a constant of fear; I wouldn't know what to do when they deport me. However, I try to maintain a positive outlook. At least I am trying to focus on what is on the hand in front of me; finishing my undergraduate degree in sociology and hopefully by then things will begin to look up.
