Definitely thanks guys I'm praying for the best.

I know 2 people that had permits in IL and got tickets therefore their permit/lic # was suspended. I myself had my a temporary 6 month license that was suspended because I was pulled over after it had expired. I paid all my tickets and fines and used an attorney for all the court dates. Today I went in and paid $70 re-instatement fee and was able to get my license.

I do suggest you use an attorney because the judge might keep you from getting your license for 6 months to a year due to this last traffic stop. An attorney might make a plea deal, pay a bigger fine and bring in your valid license once you get your ssn and head to DMV.

Ok thank you for the information, right now I'm looking to find an attorney just in case the public defender doesn't work out for me. The only thing with me is I had a permit 10 years ago when I was in high school it expired after 2 years and that was that. I don't understand the driving under suspended licence part you know what I mean? It's got me in a bundle here!! ;(

You can go to the DMV once you get your ssn and find out why it was suspended and what you need to re-instate. Or you can head to traffic court and they can also tell you why and if you owe any fees there you would have to pay before being able to get your DL. Attorney prices vary. Most give free consultation. But I'm sure you will be ok if you are able to get your DL before your next court date.
