I had 3 part time jobs so far. I'm 20, and I started working at 17. I hated the first 2 jobs, long hours, rude bosses, so I quit. The jobs were under the table. The third one that I have is at the Hampton Inn Hotel. I get paid $9, I pay taxes though of course. With that, my pay averages out to about $7.30 an hour, which is a little sad to me lol. I'm going to Florida in 2 weeks, so since I work at a hotel I get a huge employee discount. For a Hilton hotel, I'm paying $49 a night, and for the other one I have is a Hampton, it's $29 a night.
The reasons why I am thinking of quitting:
1. The pay isn't great
2. I sense that my manager doesn't like me
3. I applied for a night auditor position, and I work 2-3 a week at night, from 11:15 PM to 7:15 AM, the shift is pretty easy, except it's my whole weekend, and makes me really tired. I can't really be mad at anyone else for this though since that is what I agreed on but I can't change it unless of course, I quit.
4. Overall, the position is easy, but it's boring.
- I won't quit until I have a new job, my friend wants to hook me up with a job at Wells Fargo,
. Also, in the day I work as a receptionist with about 40 hours a week, I know you will probably say take what I have and appreciate it, but I really don't need that many hours and I just want a different job.
So, I don't really know what I need advice on since I know I am going to do what I feel is best for myself in the end, but just please tell me what you think of the situation?

If you're enjoying your life you're on the right path, if you're hating your life you should change your life. jayz10 is right on.

You live once so do not waste your time hating the path you're on. Do what makes you happy.

Managers should try to be friendly but don't expect them to be your friend. Also that's a pretty good discount considering how much I've had to pay for staying there.
