Besides overwhelming his assistants/secretaries? Probably not.

Too early to celebrate but it's nice to at least get our day in the sun. This is what we have wanted for years. I think the people in this site will stay in touch...maybe even more so once we're not afraid to reveal ourselves.

Yea so I think we would have had 70 easily but the final vote of 70 or more is what matters to send the message to House right?

I have been already celebrating!

Lets face it, if CIR passes, we will slowly disintegrate from this forum and immerse into American society, buy plane tickets and venture off our separate ways. This is the end of the road of this incredible rally. Regardless the outcome, WE ARE FREE. If this bill passes, I will cry in sheer happiness and joy for the older dreamers especially DA USER. DA USER, you must reveal yourself if this bill passes the House! This is an incredible vigil from you guys and all adult immigrants who work hard daily! It will be answered surely.

What makes you think people will leave this forum? Look at the posts on DACA already. If CIR passes, there will be lot of threads on the process.

Will be between 70-75 I think judging by this Border security amendment vote. But, at this point..we should not get carried away. John Boehner and his GOP will decide the final outcome. Boehner has too many lives in his hands right now. He will need to show leadership and take this Senate bill with open arms.

To keep it in mind:
Here's a list of the 15 Republicans who voted to invoke cloture on the amendment: Lamar Alexander, Kelly Ayotte, Jeffrey Chiesa, Susan Collins, Bob Corker, Jeff Flake, Lindsey Graham, Orrin Hatch, Dean Heller, John Hoeven, Mark Kirk, John McCain, Lisa Murkowski, Marco Rubio, and Roger Wicker
