Hey Guys I got an email saying my name was updated. But it was only for my i765. What does that mean ??

Don't worry u will get it, my app was recieved August 28 and I barely got approved this past Tuesday June 25

idk if it's a good idea to check the case status everyday. According to the uscis's privacy policy on routine uses:
Routine Uses: The information may be used by and disclosed to DHS personnel and contractors or other agents who need the information to assist in activities related to providing status information on a pending immigration benefit application or petition. Additionally, DHS may share the information with law enforcement or other government agencies as necessary to respond to potential or actual threats to national security pursuant to the agency's published Privacy Policy and the routine uses outlined in the Benefits Information System system of records notice, DHS-USCIS-007, September 29, 2008 73 FR 56596.

I used to check 3 times a day but I stopped checking for good a week ago and suddenly my application got approved(notified via email). I don't know if the not checking was the cause.. but it can't hurt to try it. The email notifications are pretty spot on.

I had the same, except mine was an address update

When my address was updated on June 18 at 12:00 pm I got approved 8 hours later at 7:00

It means u will have a decesion soon,either approval or rfe,look at my time line I got that too

12 to 7 is 7 hours ain't it? Lol anyways i got that address update last Friday and still nothing.

But i checked like 5 - 6 times a day everyday until I got approved lol

For me I emailed them and they approved my daca the same week, 2 or 3 days after i emailed them.
weird.... but I think it's just all coincidence.
