Submitting a Service Request

Hey everyone,

I have hit the 6 month mark this past week. And I will be submitting a service request. I have heard the majority of people say that they don't really do much but what can I lose? Anyways I was wondering what kind of luck and the process any of you have had with them. I remember seeing a guy talk about them on a board on here one time. He said something about calling and saying something. And both him and his wife were approved a week or so afterwards. I can't find the board, anyone remember this? I know its a long shot and the process is completely random. But like I said what is there to lose but time. Thanks!!!

I have also hit the 6 month so I did an erequest on june 19. And today I called in. Guy I spoke to told me that uscis is sending me a letter on july 4 and that it should arrive in 7 to 15 days, I hope its good news. Anyway he also told me that uscis is working on applications from january..

USCIS offices will be closed July 4th since it is a Federal holiday.

however, placing a service request does nothing to speed up the process of your application. what it does is makes a paper trail about the status of your case. in terms of it still being reviewed. basically what they will tell you is pretty much the same thing you will read on your case status online. also, they will tell you to wait 14 to 30 days in order to receive a response to your service request.

If you do one do it over the phone and lie about your application date if your case was transferred because most off the dates received where misplaced and do it by speaking to a superior representative even if they say theyll call you back in 2 hours its worth the wait.

I HAD A MISDEMEANOR FOR OPEN CONTAINER/TRESSPASING AND I GOT ARRESTED HAD ACD FOR SIX MONTHS I ALSO HAD A TICKET FOR OPEN CONTAINER, I ALSO HAD A TICKET FOR OPEN CONTAINER AND A MTA TICKET I WAS AFRAID OF NOT GETTING ACCEPTED.
