Denied student loan due to ead

I was wondering if anyone else experienced this I was denied a student loan by Wells Fargo becaus my ead only lasts for 2 years....I live in Texas so please some one tell me a bank or credit union that is approving student loans!! And btw I have a us citizen with good credit :/

Why was your EAD shown in the first place? Did they specifically ask for your EAD?

They initially asked for a faxed copy of my social security card and Dl . After I sent those they said my social security showed I was not a us citizen and they needed a copy of my I-766 , work permit or I-94

You should contact your financial aid office directly and ask about loans. Are you getting aid from the school? Ask if they can help you out by increasing the amount. It seems a lot of people are getting the $2500 Texas Grant.
