Went through a checkpoint today

I went out to jamul to shoot guns with some friends and on the way back there was an immigration checkpoint. The people i was with knew my situation but i freaked out cuz all i had on me was my cali ID and also cuz we had huge guns. BUT thankfully they didnt even stop us he slowly waved us through and said have a nice day. Still i thought i was gonna shit myself haha.
