The majority of the crimes being committed in that neighborhood were done by black people, so yes, you could say that Zimmerman thought Trayvon was suspicious because he was black and standing around in the rain.

That doesn't indicate that it was the only reason Zimmerman thought Trayvon was suspicious. Zimmerman had called the police on prior occasions on people of different ethnicity.

Did anyone seriously think he would be convicted? I mean come on, they first wanted to do first degree murder, but couldn't because the grand jury would throw the case out, so they downgraded down to second degree so they would bypass the grand jury. They constantly showed the school ID picture of Martin, rather than a more current one.

Can u prove it was black people committing these crimes? Trayvon was hurrying home to watch the NBA All-Star game, so ur dead wrong about that. Zimmerman called the police on other people of other ethnicity (u claim, i have not seen anything about such events), but did he pursue and confront them? Im sure if he did...we would of heard about it in this trial.

U also basically agreed with my point. If Trayvon was a white guy going home...he would of made it home that night, because he wouldn't of been racially profiled.

If someone is following me and i feel as though i may be in danger im gonna kick his teeth in like Trayvon did...the only difference is im gonna do it till he stops moving, cuz this case taught me that u do not give anyone an opportunity to strike back.

I agree. If your life is in danger and your adrenaline is pumping, you will do what you must to survive, even if the self-defense entails killing a teenage aggressor. I am sure most of us would have done the same. When someone is assaulting you, you do not think about the aggressor's age, sex, or life story. You think about your survival and your loved ones. That being said, you aim to behead the fuck out of someone who is fucking with your livelihood and, in a sense, with your loved ones.

If Zimmerman is telling the truth, what can we say? The aggressor suffered the consequences of his actions. You just do not fuck with people and their possessions. If Zimmerman is authentically innocent, I do not have any compassion for Martin. Martin got what was coming to him.

I dont know about you but think 17 year olds are still kids. Even an 18 year old who is "officially" an adult is still a kid in my opinion.

I think I got carried away maybe I let my emotions about this case get the best of me. Im just upset a kid had to die, but oh well what can we do? sometimes our justice system with its high standards of proof fails to show guilt beyond a reasonable doubt. After all, its Innocent until PROVEN guilty, right? I'll shut up now. I dont wanna make enemies here in DAP.

Lets say he is a kid. Don't kids have to be accompanied by a parent? Do kids smoke weed? What about his tattoos? This "kid" is a thug. A thug who thinks he owns the streets and made the wrong decision.

Anyone who decides to fuck with another person's livelihood deserves to go down.

This. A 17-year old is closer to adulthood than he is to boyhood. (See: Army Enlistments). And I know people think otherwise because nowadays personal responsibility has gone out the window.

I agree. I hope this is a lesson to adults and youth alike. No one has the right to harm another person.
