has she called back after the 15 days ? keep insisting keep persuing ,to them were just another applicant , to us , its our life , unfortunately we have two other or maybe 3 more 11 monthers , hopefully were not all headed that way , and we all get approved asap

she hasn't call no more. because they don't give out enough information. i will tell her tomorrow to try again. sometimes i think what if was me in that situation instead of her.. it will be awful. yikes. her friend she sent the application and days later they asked her for more evidence. she sent the evidence and got approved a month later. her friend file the same time as we did.. one thing im not sure is that when my cousin came to the USA her mom which is my aunt. mess up when we got stopped by ICE. like we got detained we did some paper work they told us to do. but my aunt said that she lie when she wrote my cousin name.. she put a different middle name because she was scared. they let us go. they gave us 6 months to be in the country. then we got deportation letters i got one too.. this happen in 2003 though. we had to go back to Texas to leave back to our country we didn't go. i'm not sure if that's whats taking long ..

maybe it just has to do with background checks ? , seems like thats the ship were all in , either tho our names matching up with criminals or them just trying to figure out and or update our name

Yeah it's background checks that's holding it up but if your in school still (Hs) they approve you much faster. I'm a January applicant . Got transferred to Texas from Vermont in May the 23rd. I did a service request and the letter said they are waiting on the background check to finish and they will continue processing my application... I just wanna work already. Sucks being broke......

Im new at this thing, but my app is taking forever i sent it sept 16 20012 and still nothing, my bro got aproved 3 moths ago and my recipt number was before his. im in the 10 months + and my life is in hold -_-

Once you've been approved and received your EAD in the mail. Does anyone know what process the SSA takes to verify the EAD?

Wow I'm looking at the time some of you have been waiting and DAM does that suck! If i'm already dying to knows wtf is going on I can only imagine how you guys must feel! But um.....what type of time do you guys think i'm looking at they received my application june 3 2013 I did my bio july 8 and also I had to call in becuz there was a typographical error on my application and they forward the information to the officer reviewing my case and I also got a letter stating what I called for and what the person in their call center did.
