I was a fool.
By that time ,I was a freshmen with good grades,so I got comfortable ,started cutting school,going to daytimes,getting suspended ,and getting detentions..
by the time i realized it ,I was a demo softmore..
My old friends,where gone,some locked up ,some kicked out of school,killed,and drug addicts,,

By that time I had made new friends,,and when I least expected,I was the leader of my crew,the guys looked uo to me,i had the knowledge charisma,and bad habits they admired..

Once walking w my friend "rafi "after school,down the neighborhood.went to get some pizzas walking ,it was winter ,my friend walked in ,to the lil scesars pizza and came out running ,tells me just run,
we ran ,and when we where about to get home,we see a guy w a red hoody,he flashes a gang sign,rafi flashes the sign back,next thing I see a blavk object ,w sparks and smoke coming out .we run and next thing I see is rafi s white jacket ,with a red stain,
Guess what ,he had gotten shot,,
He starts ,yelling and having trouble breathing,the pizzas are all over the floor,and my friend is shaking like hes having an epilepsi
attack..
a older guy comes ,and sticks his finger on the bullet whole..and tells rafi to not worry,that he had called the ambulance already..
Rafi looks at me and tells me ,tell my mom I love her..

I didnt know what to say to him.
just stood quite frozen,,scared....
At the hospital we where questioned of who did it..
We didnt know,we just saw a guy w a red hoody,,
Good thing my friend recouped from that situation,and the sad thing is that he still ,on the same lifestyle..

I have lost many friends to gun violence,,



When i was a demo a freshmen,I saw this beatiful girl ,coming towards,our lil hanging out place in school..

The first floor ,there she was,walking w my friend,
I didnt talked to her ,she didnt looked like she was the kind of peiple in my circle of friends,she was like a school girl.
that will never talk to a guy like me.
witg a bad reputation..

Where do u work or what do u do for a living

I work at a tranloading logistics co.
Im a forklidmft operator,and spotter.
Cant get hired because havent applied for daca.
Have been offered to be hired.but for now have been a temp for 2yrs
