I talk to USCIS level 2 officer today, I was on hold for 2 and half hour. I ask him about my back ground check, he said there is no way they can check my back gound. He told me it's still pending and said wait till Aug. 4 if you do not hear something call us back.
What should I do? I know I will not hear nothing after the Aug. 4th, Should I direct e-mailing to VSC or call back again?

have u tried emailing the center ? , i pretty much took the steps that were given , service request , nothing okay , email csc , seemed like it worked , next up was the director , and then pkanned on contacting congressman , well, thats what i did

I wish I was in either you or Todo's shoes. I still did not hear anything did another service request last week.

did u move to step 2 , write to the center ? service request didnt help me , looks like writing the csc actually did , i think , i hope

Write to your congressman. It will help way more than placing service requests.

Just a heads up for people. I called uscis this morning before being approved and they said to email the uscis headquarters. I was approved 45 minutes after the call so I never emailed them. Either way, this is it.
