Hey! Well, quick question. I started working at this place sinced April of 2012. I was getting paid under the table until I got my social security number...

In terms of job experience, I can only put the date I started working here when I got my SS and is on the payroll right?

Just wondering, have you guys ever used your previous job as a reference regardless if you were getting paid under the table?

It shouldn't matter if you are paid under the table, but maybe you should of ask the boss to lift his hands over the table so that you are paid above the table instead jk, really it shouldn't matter, but as far as I know no one would usually ask that.

i have. when a potential employer checks your previous to make sure that you actually worked there. they dont check to see if your SSN matches or anything like that.

so, you can use the whole time your were employer there when and if you are looking for other jobs. hell, it's your work experience, why would you want to cheat yourself out of it.
