I submitted my DA in January but still waiting like many of you.

I was wondering if anyone here has applied and been approved to rent an apartment.
So far all my life my mom has been the one getting the apartment lease under her name. She has a valid license and ID only. We live in Texas and before if you had a visa you could get a license and ID but laws changed and she can no longer renew unless she can show she is here legally. Here identification is going to expire and so is our lease and I was wondering if anyone here has gotten an apartment without american ids if such. We do have ITIN #s

We tried recently to apply to some better cheaper apartments but they denied us since we could show we were here legally. I was just wondering how do you go about looking for apartments were they wiLl take us. Should I just call them and say we have Mexican IDs and ITIN #s? Passport has expired I'm an overstay.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Your valid passport should be ok and in some apartments accept itin call and ask them. New Mexico State is very friendly they rent apt on itin. Not sure about Texas .
