Today my mom opened a bank account at chase using her ITIN #, ID, and Utility bill. Something that was strange was when the guy who helped us asked if we had a visa, green card, etc("for tax purposes")... we obviously said no. should we worry about this???

I opened a checking account with chase and they didn't ask me for the itin # I just showed them my consular I'd
