D3 Waiver

I am not sure if you guys have read about the D3 waiver, apparently we could leave the US and come back if we can get a non-immigrant visa, such as an H1B and, get this, satisfy the 10 year ban in the states.

Yes, it was discussed, however briefly. I reposted it because I never read it in here.
I understand that it probably involves a lot of effort to get a D3 waiver but I know of people who have done it (through a K visa) and the process was very fast, even though they had the 10 year ban triggered they were able to come back after a couple weeks.

I am mainly reposting this for those Dreamers who have a degree that would qualify them for a H1B visa, it would be in their best interest to get a job and build a relationship with an employer who will be willing to sponsor them, that way if DACA is ever revoked, you at least have another option to come back, granted you have a damn good lawyer.

Still got a 10-year bar on adjustment of status and consular processing because you're inadmissible for an immigrant visa and the equivalent. So you'd be working as an H-1B under a single employer for 10 years, or alternating between visas. Between DACA and that, DACA is generally far better. Between nothing and that, well...who knows?

Elihu is right,DACA has the benefit of working for almost any employer while with work visas you cannot do that and must continue to meet other restrictions to meet the status requirements with 1 employer while the countdown for the immigrant bar is commenced.

If you visit any of the H1B visa forums you can see it is quite difficult at times to maintain that status.
