I'm glad everything worked out in the end,and your DACA case is more than likely thrown out as you have a relevant Legal status now.
I saw your post about that but unfortunately for me I did it before I knew about this forum. You would think these lawyers that charge crazy amount of $$$$ would know this and steer you away .

Hah,You actually took the day off? I guess one can't be blamed considering the importance.

Yeah, good lawyers simply know the law...but great lawyers know the law and should make every effort in terms of preparation on how it positively or negatively affects their client.

I 100% agree. Yes I actually took it off. I waited 20+ years and Couldn't wait 1 day longer lol. I can't believe how much time I spent at the ssn office. When it only took them 5 min for her to put my info in the computer and tell me to wait 2 weeks to get my social. It's official im legal. This is one of the best feelings in the world. Next will be my DL. It shouldn't be to hard.

I assume you mean an "I-192 waiver" but it shouldn't take long for them to reply. Why did they request you to file an I-192 though since a U visa can be applied for any undocumented individual ?Unless there are other personal circumstances here that are not detailed!

If you came in with out inspection you have to file the I 192 or if you have reviewed unauthorized employment. Basically for any reason you can get denied for you have to fill out a waiver. Hey Ianus I actually did get issued an i94 with my u visa.
