same thing here, i never thought i would have lasted 11 months waiting.

I thought by latest i would be approved by the end of January and beginning Feb.

How did you managed waiting all this time.....some days are just so overwhelming for me other days i forget about it....it's the not knowing what's killing me!

Yeah i know what your talking about.

I kept myself busy that helped also knowing that there a lot of people like myself not only in this Forums but in other forums and blogs that i read. I know the feel when you totally forgot about your case and than all of a sudden it hits you like cold water and your like "Damn i can't believe i'm still waiting". I only did 2 or maybe 3 service request and than stopped when i was pretty much getting the same reply.

I also wrote to the USCIS director and i got a reply from him saying that he was going to forward my email to some other guy but i never heard from either of them at all. Next step for me was to tell my Lawyer to do something so USCIS can shed some light into my case or at least let me know what step was i stuck at or w/e, he ended up sending a letter.

My next step after that was to contact my local Congressman and for me that was Mr. Mario Diaz-Balart. I emailed but i did not receive a reply so a week later i called and told the secretary that i required his help with my Immigration case. I was told to bring all my paper work. I filled up a form when i arrived at the office after that i was called up by some other lady and said that they along with the Congressman are going to get in contact with USCIS to figure out what the problem was. Three days later i was approved. I think it was because of the Congressmans help along with the letter my Lawyer sent or it was just my time,who knows. So if you haven't done it i suggest you get in contact with yours.

I know there are some people who have talked to their Congressman concerning their case and all they get are the same response that we get when we do a service request. I think that some Congressman just have a better connection inside USCIS than others. My final step was to do an info pass.

I emailed uscis director on Aug. 6th ans I still have no answer??????

Tomorrow is going to be a month since a sent my application but I haven't received the bios app. Is that normal?

Just got two emails one about my deferred action application and one for the employment authorization, It said " your name was updated" But I went to the website and it just says that my name has been updated..

They received my RFE last week, I been waiting for 9 months and I was transferred from Vermont to Nebraska 3 months ago.

What could this mean? did anyone get emails like this when they got approved?

just realized that im gonna be 29 soon. last month my friends all went to LA for vacation and i had to miss out thanks to this. i have no state ID to fly in airplanes so i had no choice but to decline all the invites. they all posted pictures on their facebook showing the things they seen and places they visited. and here i am just sitting there realizing how much a waste i've become. how much my youth and potential career flying away. its been like this every summer. just dreadful and painful to see everyone doing stuff while your held back cause of paper. i keep making excuses not to go out at times. sometimes they think i just distance myself which is weird for them because i always been social and friendly person. i am grateful for those who don't have to go through this. sorry for the pessimism.. but i just needed to vent =[

Totally underetandable but u will see once u get approved your life will take a 360 turn for better and u will be able to take those trips
