I checked today and it worked! Yay! I checked on saturday but it didn't do it for some reason. I think there was something wrong with the system. I'm good to go then!

I think it goes without saying but I'll say it anyway: CHECK YOUR SS# AND YOUR NAME ON E-VERIFY BEFORE YOU APPLY FOR A JOB

This is unfortunately only possible for people who had SSNs prior to DACA, and/or people with existing credit history.

Having never applied for a credit card/building my credit history, I was unable to go through the self-service.

I tried with both my SSN and without, and it still didn't work.

Anyone else still having problems with this? I got asked at my job to bring in my EAD again bc E-Verify didn't clear me, I don't know why. It might have just been a data entry error. My brother (who applied to everything at the same time as me, we did everything together) has had no problems with his number at all at his new job. Just my luck I guess.

How did this go? Make sure that they entered your information correctly.

I got the same message as you but when I tried the above, I got "Self Check compared the information you provided to U.S. government databases and can confirm that, based on the information you provided, you are eligible to work in the United States."
I tried both input ssn in first step and omitting it but it didn't work for me. I had a credit history for about 8 months and nothing. I tried checking my credit history through Transunion and Experian and I got it but Equifax told me that I need to mailed them my personal documents in order to get report. What could have gone wrong?

Last Wednesday(21th), I was notified by HR that E-Verify returned a message saying further review is needed in my case.
Unfortunately, the person in charge is out for vacation until the 28th and all I can do it wait.

I had a valid SSN since 2001 that says "Valid for Employment only with INS Authorization."
I even went to the SSA Office to update my work authorization after receiving my EAD.
I was cleared when I used Self Check by USCIS.
But E-Verify rejected me

And the statistics is against me since only 0.28% out of 16 million applicants are cleared after initial mismatch.

Hopefully this doesn't happen to any of you guys here in the forum.
I'll keep you guys posted once I find out exactly what went wrong.

If you dont mind me asking. But did you get hired at a big company? Did hr say anything about your temporary ead? Reason I asked is cuz im currently interviwing for a big company and they seem interested in me. Id hate if this would be an issue.
