Perhaps a work contract to teach English in Korea, or a cheap study abroad program, or see what 'humanitarian parole' means (can an uncle or second cousin that is really sick count?)

If Congress will not fix the broken system, let's use it to our advantage somehow.
I completely agree with you. I'm definitely going to take advantage now, Congress is tripping. They are screwing our futures with their ineptitude.

We have to make this work.

Hmmm...do you seriously plan to study in Canada? I heard college is cheaper there, but you won't be getting ANY type of financial aid. However, I'm also seriously considering this idea...

Seriously, it's ridiculous. All of us are going to age out by the time they get this done. Don't hold your breath for 2017 either.

Do you KNOW how many times they have kicked the bucket in the last 12 years?
I'm in the same boat as you. I will be 30 about to turn 31 in 2017.

Now that a medical school will take us with DACA, I'm going to stay, get my degree and immigrate to the UK or Australia. This shit is beyond ridiculous. Losing the best years of our lives because they continue to delay CIR.

No matter what you plan to do, you will most likely need above 40K, whether here or in Canada. So start saving that sweet money up baby.

Darn it. His royal smoothness has undergone anger management and, thus, lost the verbal creativity to curse at this type of nonsense.

I forgot to mention, shut the fudge up. Disrespecting my boys Ianus credibility like that. You should get the backhand for that.

I like your posts full of indignation and outrage; though, I do like 2Face's, veryniceperson's and freshh's posts, too. DAUser's are my occasional afternoon comedy relief. I actually feel less outraged at this news than at the bulls***t they try to sell us. I feel less offended when they don't insult my intelligence.

Alright, I know people won't take me seriously, but does anyone want to bet that CIR will pass in late January 2014 (more or less)?

No, this isn't like DA_User's usual bullshit. This is actually leaked information I got from "people".

It wouldn't surprise me if Obama actually did deferred action for all 11 million. This will send ripples across both party platforms letting them know that the President isn't afraid to use his executive powers. I m really glad we have DACA in the meantime, its better than false hopes. I do wish some sort of Dream Act would get passed this year or next, its better than nothing at this point.
