Do We have A#s?

Im applying to some research programs (that accept international students --bc I only have EAD and SSN so I'm still not a PR). Anyway, on the application form, it asks:
If you are a resident alien, enter your alien registration number. (A#)
Is that the same number on the EAD? Should I write it?

I think you have A number, I think I saw 'USCIS Alien Number' on the acceptance letter, and starts with an A.

Yes, we do. I believe it's on both approval letter and EAD.

It's labeled as a USCIS #
