Yeah I'm white and my gf is undocumented and Mexican (Oaxacan specifically). She looks very multiracial, however, and gets many questions about where she is from. Anyway she is my first gf and I've been with her for almost 2 years now.

My parents love her, and know about her status.

Her parents, on the other hand, are very strange with me. They are usually somewhat friendly when I am in their presence, and mostly tolerate me. Occasionally they will ask about me and very rarely they will invite me over. But they are also disrespectful to me. For example, one night her immediate family, herself and I went to the movies. After it was done, her parents would hardly talk to me and when the bus came to go home, her father did not even say goodbye to me. As you can imagine, I was pissed. That was the last straw for me and I declared that I "wasn't going to try anymore" (to please her parents, that is) later to her and I am sticking to it.

Her brothers love me, by the way.

please don't give up. at first, my parents couldn't stand my husband (my mom even asked how the hell will he take u to the hospital if you got sick, he doesn't even have a social, forgetting that i was in the same boat, lol) but now, they love him because he proved himself worthy. understand, her parents are just afraid (y r u w/ her, r u good enough for her,...) they can't stand to see her grow up if u guys plan on being together forever, i recommend u include family.

I'm pretty much like everyone else on this thread...I've dated white guys, black guys, Hispanic guys [my boyfriend right now is Dominican], and mixed guys too. For me it's pretty much all about how interesting someone is. I could really care less what someone looks like; it's all about personality for me [how cliche lol].


I have noticed though, at least here in South FL, that more guys are attracted to girls with blonde hair LOL. When I had my old dark hair, I didn't get asked out half as much as I did when I started dying my hair blonde and getting blonde highlights. My bf right now even said he didn't even know I was in his class until I dyed my hair blonde LOL. I guess blondes really DO have more fun huh LOL j/k.

I've dated only 2 guys to date (hey, I'm still young). My first boyfriend is a Mexican-American. My current boyfriend is white, and we have been together for 4 years. My parents and sisters love him; my mother even urge me to marry him, lol.
