Getting SS card Question????

Ok so I'm going to the SS office today, what do I need to bring and also what kinda questions do they ask? Should I be nervous? I heard ppl are rude at the Portland office :/

Take your EAD, passport and birth certificate. If you don't have a passport, that's fine, just take the birth certificate. Sometimes they ask questions, sometimes they don't. They'll ask if you've received public benefits, or something along those lines.

Went in took a number, got called up to window, said hello gave her ead and passsport and the ssn application form (printed and filled in at home) she was typing info in here computer, asked me to confirm my address took a look it was correct said card should arrive in a week and it did.

I went today, and they said cuz I just got my card today, they have to very my permit, n it can take up to 3 weeks for me to get it

I went today and I received it on Friday, and had no problem? I was nervous tho :/

Went today also, Just took by birth certificate and my EAD (can't find my passport), I get a print out on Friday but was told I'd get the actual card in the mail within 2 weeks.
