Actually the GED is real, I have heard of such "schools", however, they have little to none credentials. I doubt they even have a physical building for classrooms and such. It is a scam in nature really, they simply charging people for their worthless GEDs. It is like if I were to register myself as a school, rent a building, and let people to pay for enrollment and simply give them GEDs. Is it real? Yes. Does it worth something? Nope.
I would suggest going to a credible institute.
.ORG, not .EDU
