USCIS received my petition on February 26th (Nebraska) It has been more than 6 months (almost 7). I applied for service request because it was outside the normal 6 months processing time and here is the email I received 4 days ago...

"The status of this service request is:

Recently, you contacted USCIS concerning your Form I-821D application. Below is a summary of what we found and how the issue has been or may be resolved.

Based on your request we have researched the status of this case and Service records indicate that we are actively processing it, however we have to perform additional review, which has caused a longer processing time. If you do not receive a decision or other notice of action from us within 30 days of the date of this message, you may call the customer service telephone number 800-375-5283.

We hope this information is helpful to you."
Got that same response last Monday threw email expect mine said 90 days.

Just got a response for a service request I submitted:
The status of this service request is:

On 09/11/2013, you or your representative contacted USCIS concerning your I821D to notify us that you believe your case is outside of our normal processing time. Below is a summary of what we found and how the issue has been or may be resolved.

Our records show that your I821D is currently pending adjudication. We regret that we are unable to provide you with a completion date for your application. We apologize for the delay.

We hope this information is helpful and appreciate your continued patience.

Extremely helpful. The dreaded 'pending adjudication' limbo.

It is really sad that we don't have a voice in this. Obama passed the law but since it is temporary and we are undocumented, people say we shouldn't complain and be thankful. The law was passed to attract Latino voters, not because of anyone's kindness.
I just wish we had a voice, despite not having paperwork, we should be able to speak up. I don't hear the news talking about this and yet a lot of us are still waiting for this to get approved while others who applied a few months ago, already got it. Not fair at all especially since I sent my application right away in hopes of having this by January 2013. Obama got elected, now he could careless.

Thats how I feel its not fair to wait while others get approved quickly. Even those who have some minor criminal background get approved before us. Its a bitter comment but thats how I feel.

but that makes no sense, there is a backlog so they decide to pick them randomly.
It is like no one in the US has heard of First in First Out (First Serve). Yes we understand they are backlogged but to then decide let us do it randomly is wierd.
