There are congressmen and senators that take their jobs seriously but there are a great deal of them that act childish immature and procrastinate lot.
The republicans are going to pay dearly if we default. 2014, no longer a majority. We have to work like hell to kick em out. Then, when democrats are in the majority, we force them to take CIR as the first order of business since they wouldn't have been there without Hispanic votes.

Amsterdam is a great country, as far as Italy goes who ever suggested it, it's truly a shithole.. Have fun there.

This is what irritates me about some of the attitudes on this website-- the pessimism. Yes politics can be frustrating and things take time to materialize, but don't be so quick to forget where each one of us was a year and a half ago with NO DACA, most likely NO Driver's License, NO SSN valid for employment (if people had one at all), NO LEGALLY paying job, NO indication that we would get a chance to chase our dreams as we are now, yet look at all the progress that we've made barely a year into DACA!

Are things easy? NO. However, DACA has opened so many doors for us that we didn't previously have a chance to even go near let alone knock on those doors. I don't know about you, but I'm very grateful.

Nothing's ever perfect, but you need to count your blessings rather than badmouth a country that has given us A LOT. If you don't want to stay in this country that's your personal choice which you are entitled to, but announcing it on a Dream Act website is a complete waste of time. We are on this website because we believe in this country and we want to be here.

but I don't want to move to any other country other than America. I just want to visit my family for about a month, and come back safely to the country I lived more than half of my life in, where I grew up, got educated! That vacation would be a nice getaway, that's all I am asking for. It's not like I wouldn't pay for a plane ticket, they would be even making money off of me. I feel like a criminal, why am I not allowed to travel and enjoy my life ughhh

Yeah, go to a country from which everyone young is running away, a country where getting a full time job that is not a laughing joke is next to impossible. Go on, shoo.

In all honesty, you're better off moving to UK, or Ireland, if you're so dead set on leaving US.

Don't let the door hit you on the way out.

now hey, don't take it out of proportion, I never said I wanted to leave, I just said VISIT. All of my family is there, people I haven't seen in AGES, and why can't I visit them for 2 weeks and come back to the country that I see my whole future in? Why is this country so messed up when it comes to this stuff? The Dream Act failed by FIVE votes a few years ago, 5 people... destroyed my life.
