I got it within less than 2 months, I mailed it out of the first day we were able to and my center was from Illinois-Nebraska.

You will feel a new appreciation of the place that's become your home. Are your relatives unable to visit you here? If so, why not help your grandparents /relatives financially to afford to fly to the U.S?

A few years ago an activist who posted here was complaining about the inability to travel internationally, while she held and EAD, SSN and license, all things that make you lead just about the same life as any American citizen. It sounded immature and ungrateful and myopic, so if you write those things, guess how you sound? If it makes you feel better, I feel as you do every two weeks or so, whenever I receive payroll and realize that I cannot seek a better paying job without status. It lasts about 10".

My life would be improved exponentially and millions of possibilities would open were I able to obain an EAD. Same applies to 11 million others struggling out there. You seem very young and the beauty of youth is that you have plenty of second chances. Take your EAD and go seek them. Good luck.

It's not about visiting places, or taking VACATION, this is about seeing my FAMILY. My aunts, cousins, my poor grandma who's in and out of the hospital every other week, people I haven't seen in over a decade. This isn't about going somewhere just to go. If I wanted a vacation, I would go to Miami.

Correct me if I'm wrong but Poland is not a country best known for its beaches, is it?

Have you thought about applying for AP?

Apply for AP to visit your infirm relative - if approved, the gvnmt will probably grant you more than two weeks. This is much ado about nothing.

I do feel for the OP on this one after thinking about this again. I mean there HAS TO BE an endgame with this. I don't think there is enough left to squeeze out from the undocumented people any more. We've paid our dues and it is time to get out of the shadows. I just feel for the older folks including all of our parents. Just logically thinking, all this could be over right now at this point if it wasn't for two or three republicans who are directly responsible for this shutdown and stalling of all domestic issues. That is the frustrating thing. But I fully get where the OP is coming from. This is nothing short of a modern day tactic to keep a huge population to a certain level and prevent them from advancing. It's been almost 14 damn years since my parents saw their fams..uncles..aunts..brothers..sisters..you name it. That's gotta be tough. Those few Republicans are hell bent on RESTRICTING our movement. But their grip is loosening as each day passes and one day we will be free.
