I've searched through various boards and I haven't been able to find an answer to this question. I have the opportunity to apply for an internship at Intel, but one of the requirements is that "Applicants must possess the permanent right to work in the US."

This means that with DACA, I don't qualify for this job, right?

You're right. With DACA you only have a temporary privilege to work (2 year EADs) and if you commit a crime or your DACA is outright cancelled, you lose that privilege.
Same goes with work visas and what not.

You would technically have the permanent right to work with LPR status or Citizenship.

Thanks for your input.

You may not qualify for this job but you can still apply and when the interview comes you can tell them your situation about DACA. Since DACA is new, they can work around it. It never hurts to apply and get experience from the interview. If you get the interview it means a lot, your status doesn't matter until HR asks for papers.

That's exactly what I've done. As my friend said, YOLO, what's the worst that can happen?
