I can't believe that an officer hasn't even touched your case. So basically it's just sitting there. That's ridiculous. Well maybe it's on hold because of your background checks maybe there waiting for them to come back with results so they can move forward with your case. The last E-request I did was on Oct 10,2013 and got the letter in the mail on Oct 26,2013 and all they told me was that basically my case is with an officer under review and I should get something very soon. Hopefully the next E-Request you do they tell you that your case is with an officer under review.

Well i have learned not to believe them now, in February i was told they were looking at the case and they said in 2 weeks it would be approved or RFE [I spoke to second level officer.], Well I can only hope it comes b4 December so I can at least start school, just not sure if it is worth it anymore.

Congrats to anyone who has been recently approved. I just got my ead yesterday (11-1) and went to apply for my ssc. Anyone who has recently gotten their social know what is the wait time for it? They say 4 weeks but that seems long. Thanks

I went to the Social Security office 9 days after I was approved, and they told me because it hadnt been 10 days yet, my info wasnt showing in the computer. They put a request for immigration to send the info over, the lady told me that it can be 2 to 4 weeks before I get the card, lets see what happens although she said its usually faster than that, and they just tell that to people so they dont bug them all the time.

I went the same day I received my ead and they didnt say anything. The paper they gave me there said it may take up to 4 weeks depending on how long it takes them to check your ead. I hope it doesnt take too long because im anxious to get my drivers license

just got mine in the mail I sent package on august 22 was received august 27 got my appointment for my finger prints done on September 25th received DACA along with work permit today November 4 th 2013.

total time lapsed since I sent my application 2 months and 13 days.

I guess I was one of the lucky ones thank god. to others still waiting hang in there is worth the wait believe me is an unbelievable feeling.
