It was easy they just asked for ead and birth certificate took about 15 minutes. I didn't fill out an application she just did it on the computer, I got my receipt and was told I'd get it in 2 weeks

Do I have to wait 10 days before applying for a SSN? And about how long does it normally take? I should be receiving my EAD anytime between tomorrow and next Wednesday. Thanks in advance!

Have you gotten your SS card?! I went Thursday the day AFTER the shutdown was lifted and the gave me a letter that they needed to verify my documents and that it will take UP TO 4 weeks to get my card in the mail. It's very nerve wrecking. Did you get the same letter or did they just tell you 2 weeks?!
