Ok I know this is a topic that's been constantly discussed but I'm not here to read everything so can someone fill me in. I'm in a situation where I have been approved from daca and I am planning on marrying my USC ginger gf lol so I was thinking that if I do is there an application where she or myself can submit in order to obtain a green card . Thank you

what does her hair color have anything to do wanting to find some info? Honestly answer - are you just marrying her to fix your status?

Even if he was so what. Many did this years ago (when I heard it was easier / the process was a joke) and I can tell you they sure as hell aren't "hoping" for immigration legislation to pass.

So you're fine just using her? Does she know you're only using her? How many weeks have you been dating her? And to answer the above person with his " so what" this doesn't help the cause it makes people against a CIR think we are "exploited" the system using "loopholes" around the system. And to " many people did" that doesnt justify marrying someone just for the sake of adjusting one status.

Tc has yet to answer so I will wait for his reply. Thought it's obvious we know his answer

Lol I'm not using her fellas. I've been with her for 2 years and she's the mother of my child. I love her and my kid more than anything and I just want to be assured that I can be here with them without a threat of being deported. Sure DACA is great and all but does it promise me to be here longer than those 2 years? I could renew it every 2 years but c'mon do I really need to be a visitor here. If marrying is my only option in order to be with my family than why not do it.

Well u always have to do your research based on your situation..are u EWI,visa overstay ,income requirements ..every case is different..and even if u do get married..u will be issued a conditional green card for only 2 years, then u have to apply to have the conditions removed ...and then the mini process starts all over again..

You have to file a waiver that just made possible this year but it's kinda of hard to get and you don't need to leave to file a petition. I forget the name of it but getting that and AP are almost the same process. Some people who didn't get that waiver are getting AP and coming back with their EWI status revoked
