Is marrying a USC the only way I can become an international flight attendant? Even if I were to leave the U.S and get the job in EU, for example, I would not be able to work because I wouldn't be able to enter the U.S, right?

Thanks

Well as a DACA recipient, I feel like you should definitely be able to apply for Advanced Parole because it has to do with work related purpose. However, you might have to have an offer letter first. You will use that with a lawyer to get the Advanced Parole. Might be a little hectic because you will have to deal with presenting the documents very frequently. If you don't mind, can I ask you why you would like to become a flight attendant? What about it appeals to you? Good luck.

I'd honestly would stay away from any job that requires international travel whether you have DACA or not. Most airlines I would assume would require one to showcase an immigration status for multiple entry such as Permanent residence or Citizenship.

I know someone that applied and the first thing they ask for was a passport and visa. She was currently a resident and went a head and pushed for her citizenship (she had been here the required time just never did it) she said her chances were better that way.

From what she made it sound like it was first show us you can work before extending an offer and not being able to travel abroad before advance parole seems pretty difficult.

She had 3 interviews before being hired.

If you do get in please let us know!!!!!! and all the required paperwork they asked you for.

why...

Will I need a passport in order to begin applying?

Not every airline will require that you already have a passport when you apply, but some will. As soon as you are hired as a flight attendant, you will need a passport, and having a valid passport at your interview is a plus. Click here to begin the passport application process or simply apply in person at your local post office.

I am not a US citizen, can I apply to a US based airline?

In order to apply to a US based airline, you must be legally able to work in the US and enter and exit the US without restriction. For information on obtaining a work visa click here

not even going to ask

So there's no way for me to ever be an international flight attendant here in the U.S or anywhere else for that matter. Even if I were to leave, move to Europe, and get an EU passport, I wouldn't be able to be one because I would not be able to enter the U.S, right? This sucks haha

No one can say for sure about anywhere else, but if you have only DACA or an undocumented status the truly only way is to have a more permanent status.....I'm not even sure conditional residency would even work as well.

If the the flight is coming to the US for sure you'd still be screened and required to have a D1 visa as a crewman. The same issue of gaining a visa at a US embassy becomes a problem if you've overstayed and I'm not sure of USCIS giving advanced parole if working for an airline counts as business abroad.
