He can't. His English comprehension skills are not good. He literally entered the USA at no younger than 29. That's why he's always asking what's the age to enter. No matter what times the repeat it.

Overwhelmed by the positive responses. Just wanted to provide a quick update. Basically..like I said..there is no outright disrespect or anything like that of any kind. I would never take that kind of shit from ANYBODY. But I have come to realize that at any job YOU MUST take the initiative yourself and stand up and get yourself in a position where when others are in trouble..you will be the first person they will come to for help. My boss...no matter how much pressure he might create..is actually willing to help..but for that I MUST go to him and open up. However, I will certain take all the advice everyone here is giving me. It's a learning experience. We must toughen up and absorb the rough patches I guess. Thanks again.

I'm experiencing something similar at my work place too, but I wouldn't call it bullying. I've had jobs pre-DACA but they were in all honesty just odd jobs to have some pocket money to buy video games or help out at home a bit. Now that some of us have careers we have to change our attitude and what's expected of us. My manager doesn't know about my DACA situation so she doesn't know about my past and my struggles, but I can't blame her for expecting a lot out of me because it's part of becoming a professional. I work in the health field and it's a very stressful job and my manager has a bad reputation in the field. So far she has demanded a lot out of me and I have stumbled and made mistakes and continue to make mistakes, but it's all about taking it in stride and moving forward. It's stressful but I think back to those years when I didn't know which direction my life was going and I'm thankful for the opportunity I have been given. My suggestion would be to hang in there and it'll get better as time passes and you gain more experience. Try to maintain a good working relationship with your boss because you never know when you might need their help. I wish you good luck and I think this thread is a good idea for a lot of us in similar situations. Let's support and provide valuable advice to each other.

I feel that some are more vulnerable than others when it comes to "bullying" in general. While it's important to be kind & respectful, you must also be assertive to let people know that you have certain boundaries that they cannot cross. Fortunately, I have never experienced any sort of bullying (in school & workplace) and I think that's due to my personality and my willingness to draw lines.

Also, it helps to be aggressive with passive aggressive fucks.
