Yup. The only thing the Democrats did was pass the healthcare law and it doesn't include everything that Obama wanted. They spent the rest of the 2 years jerking around watching the economy go to hell.

And this year I may have to become involved in the campaign to give Oregonians licenses and inform people correctly.

I think we have to be more involved in 2014 than 2013. We just let it pass by. Happy Turkey day you all.

In Oregon? The law granting licenses to undocumented people was supposed to take effect in January, but some rich guy from Utah, or Nevada (I forgot), paid a ton of money for people to gather signatures to put the law to a general vote in November 2014. The people gathering signatures then tricked the public into thinking that the petition they were signing was to actually give licenses, not take them away.

Pay volunteers? If they're volunteers then they would do it for free. And where would we get the money? Pro immigration groups forget that we're up here too, they always focus on states with higher immigration concentrations. I remember looking for scholarships for Hispanics and they always want me to live in California, Arizona, Texas, New Mexico, Florida, and New York. That's why I don't look for scholarships targeted towards Hispanics, they're a waste of time.

And I think that it's not possible to overturn a referendum once it goes to vote.
