Hey guys,

I just graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in biochemistry (3.8 GPA). I am under DACA at the moment, which in Minnesota, allows me to receive in state tuition. The MN Dream act also passed.

I am applying for graduate school, medical school, and dental school. I know all of these are very expensive.

Have any of you received loans from banks to pay for your school? My question is: what kind of loans are we eligible to?

What do you mean what kind of loans?

I have a private international student loan from Sallie Mae.

As DACA recipients, we are still not eligible for bank loans without a US citizen/perm resident cosigner.

If you have a GPA of 3.8 then you should be going to grad school for free. No need of wasting money for graduate school with a GPA like that.
