hey guys i have been lurking around for the last couple of months. i wanted to post that i just got approved for DACA a day before Christmas! best gift ever... i sent the application in Aug 2013 to the Nebraska center - biometrics in sept (here in NY it took me a 10 minute walk from home to the application center. lucky) - approved dec 2013. took just about 4 months. it feels unreal right now and i dont know what i will do with my self when the card gets here. according to the tracking it took 2 days and its out for delivery by USPS today. i want to thank the forum and its people for being very informative and keeping the DREAM alive. i also tried not to check the status everyday and kept my self busy cuz the stress is the worst. i wish the best of luck to everyone that is still waiting, you are next!

I am officially going in to my 6th month. I hope to get approved already. Good luck to all of you still waiting and to those who already been approved and still bother to come around and motivate those waiting to get approved, I wish you the best as well. how long do i have to wait to go to SSN office ? i went to social security office few days ago the clerk said the information is not on their system. i will have to come back 10 more days. i was just curious why that happened

Hey everyone! Congrats to those recently approved!

I did a service request back in June and heard back that my case was still under initial review. So basically it did nothing. Do you guys think I should try another service request? Or do you have any advice on how a service request can be taken seriously?

I finally got approved today!!!! I used to check my status everyday but it was always under "initial review" I decided before the Holidays to just stop checking and live life as best as I could til I got the good news.

And today was that day! I randomly decided to check it again today, entered my case number, and bam! Post Decision Activity: We have approved you i821D!

I'm so happy! After numerous cases of bad luck with my immigration case (fraud, missing out on my greencard by one month, being moved to the 20 year wait line for adult sons of residents) I finally got some good news!

I want to wish the rest of you goodluck! Be patient, and continue to live your life as happy as you can! Appreciate everything you do have, and never give up hope!
