Try and apply to Discover IT card. I have about $4,500 credit limit.

i had capital one before but i dont owe any money now and i closed it.

im trying to apply for a salliemae loan for a private nursing school because community college here in california is impossible to get in.

please help me. i dont know what to do. i dont know why i keep getting denied. is it because of my credit score? (altho i really doubt it)

i got approve with DACA and my SS says its onl y valid for working. and its going to expire next year. i figured i should go ahead and go to a private school and get my degree so when my working permit expires i have a degree.

help me. anybody here that has a salliemae loan?

It's so difficult to get into nursing programs!! I'm driving myself nuts over here. I was also thinking of going to a private school but I would also need a loan for that. I'll do some research and keep an eye on this thread.

We are considered international students and you can try sending a paper copy of FAFSA to the school financial aid office. Thankfully my school is very open towards international students and have a separate pool of money reserved for financial aid. I know not all schools have separate funds but since private schools have deeper pockets they too might provide aid for international students.

I am a nursing school administrator and have a suggestion.

Instead of getting a loan for a private school ADN, attend community college (not in nursing) and transfer to get a BSN. State financial aid is available to Dreamers in California. I doubt it will cost as much as a private ADN and a BSN is much better to employers.
