I'm new here hi.
So ok, my name is Oscar and I recently submitted the forms for Daca and work permit.
Got the receipts on 1/17/14 and my biometrics appointment for 2/19/14 and my problem is it states I need a proper form of identification and the Concular ID was not mentioned and I have no way to take a 9 hour trip to Kansas City for my passport.
I called up the Support Center and they did not even know themselves if it was accepted. Directed me to an immigrations officer and had a waiting period of 120 minutes and set me for a callback when it was my turn. I never got the call and called again and the waiting time was even worse...

So make this all short... Has anyone used or tried to use their Consular ID card for the biometrics?
They accept it or not?

Also, how long after the biometrics do most people receive news of further progress?
Thank you in advanced!

Great! I looked further into it and was told by an immigration officer to get a bank i.d with my bank in case they did not accept my i.d since the address does not match where I currently live. I would walk in but I have no way to get to my meeting before my appointment 2 hour drive from me since I don't have a car or anyone with free time other than going there on a weekend and staying 'til the weekday... which actually I might do. Might use this weather as an excuse for why I might not be able to make it on the day of my appointment.
