Received my EAD on 5/20 and went in to apply today.
Applied, lady then told me status has not been changed yet and I had to wait two weeks to receive another letter, then after that I would receive the SS card.

The paper she gave me just says it acknowledges that I applied and that they have to verify the documents that were provided and if it verifies them I will then receive my card.

did any one else get that? Should I just call Thursday to see if I can get a print out?

I just got back from SSA office to check up on the status of my card cause its been 2 weeks and i hadn't received it, but the lady there told me I applied too early and its still pending. She just told me to still keep waiting. I applied on the 10th of May for it. Wonder how long I'll have to wait till INS clears it.

Hi did it take anyone more than 5 weeks to receive their ssn? I've been waiting more than 5 weeks for mine. Every time I go to the ss office to request the status (since they never answer the phone) on my ssn application they say my ead is "pending verification from uscis"? I went to the uscis office today and they said there's nothing wrong with my ead and it should be fine with the ss office/ system, I received it last September 2013, but they keep giving me the run around saying it may take a fee more weeks possibly months. I'm not sure what the problem is or how it can be solved, my sister applied on the exact same day for her ssn and she gotit in the mail one week later. Does anyone have any suggestions or experienced a similar issue when obtaining their ssn after daca? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I went to file for a SSN about 15 days after i got my EAD. I waited almost (maybe 5 days before) 3 MONTHS! My SSN took longer to process than my actual EAD, DACA application. I was approved in 2 months but my SSN took forever. I also kept going to the SSA office, and asking for the status 2 times a week. The last time I called they told me my SSN was issued and verified, that was the 15th when i called and my SSN was issued the 13th. So keep calling, and asking. It takes a while, i know people got it 4 days after. But for me it took a LONG time!

Oh wow!! That's such a long time but at least now I know it should be coming sometime. Thank you so much for sharing your wait time. I was starting to think I was never going to get it. but now I know I'm not the only one. Thanks!
