It's terrible that they make you wait so long. Have you considered resending your application with an explanation? My GF did that after 7 months. I believe she got a reply about a month afterwords.

I never thought of that. I didn't even know that was possible. I will just wait till my birthday and see what happens.

Well thanks for the support its more then enough. I wish I could experiencing all of that. I know I've wasted a lot of time waiting on this.

I just think that there are stacks with some applications that have 'problems' to be looked 'later' or when 'security checks' are received, and somehow, the USCIS officer forgets about those piles. Like I've stated many times, it's simple, either a person qualifies and gets approved or he doesn't and gets denied, and that shouldn't take more than three months. Unfortunately applications aren't approved in the way they are received either, that would make a big difference.

The only thing I've been able to do is somewhat focus in school and trying to keep on going. I have a job that I want to quit because I can't stand the environment, and not being able to do so is putting a lot of stress in myself, which brings frustration and depression.

Let's hope February and March gets all of us waiting more than six months approved.
I couldn't agree with you more. If they had a fair way of approving people we would've been approved by now. Instead they put our applications who knows where.

I thought i wouldn't have to do manual labor work this year but i guess i'm stuck with that stupid job again. I really want to go to college and start studying for my career but until i get approved I just cant afford it. So many other things I've had to put on hold as well.

I totally understand the depression and stress. I do hope we all get approved in these upcoming months. You got my support and I hope you get your approval soon

Well I have been waiting close to 14 months already, I have sent about 4 erequest and a email to the nebraska service center and the response I get is " PENDING ADJUDICATION". I am desperate but there's nothing much I can do but wait.

Hope is lost when you get a denial letter, until then keep yourself occupied.

Can't you reapply? I read somewhere, I don't recall if it's here, that the person reapplied after being denied. I think I even responded to the tread asking if he/she did something different the second time around. I didn't get a response though.

edit: It's on the, "Official daca process time thread" where I asked about a reapplication.

Yeah, I asked her yesterday to make sure. She confirmed she resent it along with the email she got stating they were still working on her case. She also included a cover letter explaining why she was resending it.
